Since 2016, POCC has been working on behalf of the city of Hamburg in collaboration with Jongen GmbH & Co. KG to ensure the environmentally friendly removal of oil and other contaminants in waters, waterfront areas, and quay walls throughout the Hamburg Elbe and port area. Our experienced teams secure accident sites, deploy and recover solid material absorbent oil booms, and carry out cleaning operations. We adhere to the current local regulations and emphasize continuous training and qualifications for our staff.

As a subsidiary within the Hamburg Lines Men Group, POCC possesses years of expertise in the disposition of various port services. Our services include mooring and unmooring of sea and inland vessels in Hamburg, Wedel, and Stade, providing pontoon crews (Runner Crews), monitoring of trailers (Line Watch), and control center services for the companies within the HLM Group. We coordinate precisely to ensure smooth operations in the ports.

Our expertise extends to providing ship passages and position reports for various clients. We offer customized solutions, whether it's over the phone, based on our customers' preferences regarding timings, arrivals and departures, or ship positions worldwide, or via email, where customers can specify dispatch points. Our services contribute to enhancing navigation and communication in ports.

Since 2016, we report hazardous materials located on sea and inland vessels for our reputable clients through the reporting portal of the federal government at the National Single Window (NSW). This portal is provided by the federal government to securely monitor hazardous material transports and grant all relevant authorities and customers access to information pertinent to them at any time. We utilize this portal for registering hazardous materials for import, transit, and export goods for all German seaports and transit through the Kiel Canal (NOK).
